A ceremony was held to present the Arabic version of the book “The Ingenuity of Fuzuli” by Mir Jalal Pashayev
On February 15, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Iraq organized a presentation ceremony for the Arabic edition of the work “Fuzuli Mastery” by Mir Jalal Pashayev, a prominent writer, great scientist and educator who rendered unparalleled services in the development of 20th-century Azerbaijani science, literature and education, in the “Beyt Al-Wattar” heritage house, built in 1917 in the center of Baghdad.
Mir Jalal Pashayev’s work “Fuzuli Mastery” was translated by the State Translation Center by order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Order No. 4274 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated January 25, 2024, and was published in an elegant layout by the “Al-Azmina” publishing house, which has a rich tradition in Jordan.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Iraqi House of Representatives, Turkmen MP Arshad Salihi, leading Iraqi scholars of Fuzuli, Professor of Al-Mustansariyya University Dr. Subhi Nasir, Professor of Imam Kazim University Dr. Nazli Al-Jiburi, Chairman of the Iraqi Writers and Literary Critics Association Professor Ali Fawaz, renowned literary critic and critic Dr. Sadiq Al-Jamal, Professors of Baghdad University Yildiz Mustafa and Ghada Hadi, Editor of “As-Sadaka” Newspaper Falah Al-Marsumi, Professor of “Beyt Al-Hikma” Think Tank Dr. Reza Al-Mousavi, Editor of “Onok” Newspaper Ali Jabbar Atiye, Editor of Kirkuk’s “Turkmeneli” Newspaper Sabah Kirkuki, Professor of Kirkuk University Nabil Shahin Muhammad, Professor of North Technical University Savas Aziz, Turkmen poet Ihsan Jihad Bayatli and Editor of Kirkuk’s “Horizons of Culture” Newspaper Adnan Al-Bayati participated.
