In accordance with the Order No. 4274 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, “On the celebration of the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli” dated January 25, 2024, a series of measures were carried out by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Iraq.
In this regard, as a result of negotiations with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the headstone of the tomb of our respected poet Muhammad Fuzuli, who had a significant impact on the literature of the Near and Middle East countries, located in the Imam Hussein Mosque in the city of Karbala, Iraq, was renewed, and the fact that he was an Azerbaijani poet was reflected on the tomb
