Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC has started operating regular flights on the Baku-Baghdad-Baku route
On October 11, 2025, “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC AZAL began operating regular flights on the Baku-Baghdad-Baku route. At the initial stage, flights will be operated once a week, every Saturday.
In accordance with Article 4 of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on Air Services” signed on November 20, 2023, “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC has been designated as the official air carrier of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the purpose of operating the agreed route on the Baku-Baghdad-Baku direction.
